The Sign and Symptoms of Influenza type A can affect the digestive system, muscles, respiratory system, and the body as a whole.

Extreme Fatigue-Influenza causes fatigue and weakness and makes it difficult to carry out daily activities.

Fever- Fever is one of the most common signs of type A influenza. The University of Maryland Medical Center, define a fever at 104 degrees, but the Mayo Clinic indicates that a fever of 101 degrees or above may be a sign of the flu.
*    Headache- According to the Nemours Foundation, this flu symptom may appear 1 to 4 days after a person has been exposed to type A influenza. This headache may continue for the duration of the flu.
*    Respiratory Symptoms-The most common respiratory symptoms are dry cough, runny nose, stuffy nose andsore throat. These symptoms may make it difficult to breath.

*    Digestive Symptoms- Nausea and vomiting may occur frequently at the onset of the flu. This puts a flu victim at risk for dehydration
*    Muscle aches-These aches are caused by water loss in the muscle cells. High fevers cause greater use of the  water contained in these cells, and the vomiting and diarrhea that accompany influenza also lead to fluid loss
